Carel Super Kings (CSK) Won Division 1 Cricket League

The Carel Super Kings (CSK) owned by Indus emerged victorious in the Division 1 League for club teams, which was organized by the Ghana Cricket Association (GCA), in a heart-stopping and well-deserved win!

16 teams took part in the league and were categorized into two groups (A & B) using a fair and cyclic scheduling algorithm method round-robin(RR) model. CSK( played with 9 Ghanaians) belonged to Group A along with seven other teams: Rana Motors, Evolve Paint, Balaji Group of Company (BGC), Defenders CC, Supreme CC, Bangle Tigers, and Ras Binghi.

CSK took an incredible rollercoaster ride, having an initial disappointment in a tough defeat to Defenders CC in the first game. But the team refused to back down, displaying unbreakable determination and strength. On the sheer strength of determination and love, CSK came charging back, winning all the six subsequent games, proving their strength and mettle on the ground!

And so, with this great result, the four leading teams from each group (4+4=8 teams) have earned themselves a place at the Division 1 tournament in a glorious accomplishment!  At the same time, the bottom four teams in each group (4+4=8 teams) will face an adventurous stint in Division 2, preparing to battle their way back again stronger than ever!  Cricket in Ghana is indeed on a roll!
